SASHA DOLLS

Originally designed and made in her studio by Sasha Morgenthater , Sasha dolls were then licenced to be  manufactured in a factory setting by both Gotz  in 1964, and Trendon in 1966 . In the early years the faces were still hand painted in the factory setting . Trendon ceased  production in 1986 , and  Gotz following a second production in 2001 .The Sasha dolls are no longer made , but are extremely collectable , both early rare studio models made by Sasha Morgenthater herself and those made in the later factory settings .

The clothes listed here are specifically for the Sasha dolls , which are about 17 inches tall but have very slight bodies . For more information about these sizes please visit the Dolls Clothes Size Chart , available on the Home page .

A perfect fit for Sasha this sweet little outfit includes a sweet little swing dress with a sailor collar two patch pockets, and button closures down the back,a matching sun hat,with an elastic strap, and matching dolly doodle shoes. For customers who have other dolls approx 17 inches (43cm) high, with a slimmer build, the following measurements may assist. Shoulder to hem 22 cm To suit dolls with a waist of 21 cms,chest 24 cms. This is a loose fitting style of dress so may be suitable for dolls with a slimmer build than Sasha too. Shoe size 6cm long x 3 cm wide.
